As a Business development manager you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also great interpersonal skills. This is a great opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and gain unique insights into the inner workings of an early stage startup.

YOU WILL
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end sales process, right the way from lead generation to closing those deals!

  • Master the art of relationship building to lead discovery meetings with fashion brands and sell our solutions to add value to their pain points and needs.

  • Deliver engaging product demos, pitch decks and user tests to showcase Trim and derive impactful customer feedback for growth.

  • Engage with fashion brands primarily via outbound channels and take charge of developing our inbound sales.

  • Build and nurture a robust pipeline of customers moving the needle to find our product market fit advancing our go-to-market strategy. 

  • Maintain accurate data in our Pipedrive CRM system.

  • Communicates clearly: you are a natural communicator and negotiator who is comfortable articulating complex and diverse technical solutions to internal and external partners.

  • Is always looking for new opportunities and has a hungry sales mentality: you prioritize customer satisfaction and approach tasks with a competitive sales-oriented mindset.

  • Has experience building things: you love to execute your ideas, turning visions into reality.

  • Loves to iterate and optimize: you identify inefficiencies and help solve them, even if that means getting creative, learning a new skill, or otherwise going the extra mile.

  • Learns and adapts quickly: you’re comfortable seeking out knowledge, learning how to do things you’ve never done before, and exploring new technologies and tools.

  • Takes ownership and acts swiftly: you fully own the delivery and implementation of your assigned tasks and balance the trade-offs between speed and quality.

  • Ideally lives in Germany

Nice to have: previous experience working in a fast paced environment dealing with complex sales cycles. Experience using previous CRM systems.

We are a hybrid company offering flexible working arrangements. You can work from our co-working space at the AI Campus in Berlin, remotely from your home, or both as it suits you.

Our process for filling this role:

  1. Getting to know each other: An introductory call where you can learn more about Trim, our team and our culture, and we can get to know you beyond your CV.

  2. Meet the team: One or two calls (depending on availability) with the team members you’ll be working most closely with. This is your chance to see if you’ll enjoy working with us and learn more about our culture and values from the people who were once in your shoes.

  3. Final conversation: Meet Bobby, our CEO and Founder, to discuss the position, your impressions of Trim so far, and anything else on your mind.
